WORCESTER — Baseball fans will be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine at Polar Park during the six-game homestand of the Worcester Red Sox. The team announced Tuesday that up to 50 Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be administered each game, in partnership with the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center. Those who get vaccinated will receive a free ticket to the game. Fans must be 18 years old to participate. “We are proud to be among the first Triple-A teams in the country to offer vaccines for fans during our ballgames,” said WooSox President Charles A. Steinberg. Staff from the health center will give the shots on a first-come, first-serve basis.
