AT&T outage in Oswego County has been resolved Updated Dec 21, 2020; Oswego County, N.Y. — A widespread AT&T outage in Oswego County has been resolved, according to the county’s emergency management office. The county’s 911 center on Sunday reported a widespread statewide AT&T outage that affected the ability of AT&T customers to call 911. AT&T customers should had to use another carrier or a landline to call 911. The 911 center said that when AT&T customers call 911, their calls are dropped and it takes a few minutes for 911 center call-takers to return the calls. The problem started at about 4 p.m. Sunday but was resolved early Monday morning, said Terry Bennett, an official at the Oswego County Emergency Management Office.
