CHICKASHA, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the third suspect wanted in connection with a shootout with police in Stephens County is in custody after a multi-county search. A large police presence was visible at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. OHP confirmed the hospital was placed on lockdown while authorities investigated. OHP Trooper Eric Foster told News 9 the hospital was one of multiple locations being searched. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, The Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police tried to initiate a traffic stop on a suspected stolen vehicle Wednesday east of Marlow in Stephens County. The suspect did not pull over and a police pursuit began.
