Authorities identify man whose was found in burned vehicle

LEBANON — A man whose body was found last week inside a burned car in central Missouri has been identified as a Kansas City resident. 
Eric Rodriguez, 46, was found dead inside a car March 23 in Laclede County. He was shot before he was found inside the burned vehicle, Laclede County Sheriff's department said in a news release.
Rodriguez was last seen alive at musical festival near Laquey on March 20.
The Laclede County Sheriff's office is working with the Pulaski County sheriff and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control on the investigation.
