HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police are searching for a possible arsonist who may have targeted three state offices.
The Honolulu Fire Department said they responded to small fires at the Hawaii Supreme Court, the State Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Taxation. Officials say the fires happened between Sunday and early Monday morning.
The fire caused damage to an outside door of the Judiciary History Center Office and smoke filled the building, triggering the smoke alarm. There was also another fire that was put out on a window sill. Damage at this scene was estimated at $40,000
