February 5, 2021 Maine State Police were called for a possible violation of a Protection from Abuse Order, the subject also has warrants for Failing to Appear for Violation of a PFA and Domestic Violence-related criminal mischief. When Troopers attempted to make contact with Daniel Sweetser, 34, of Buckfield, he answered the door carrying an ax. Troopers withdrew and called for assistance. The on-duty Sergeant made contact with the man over the phone and he agreed to come out peacefully. He was arrested and was transported to Kennebec County Jail.
