Bail set at $1 million in fatal shooting Samantha McDaniel-Ogletree FacebookTwitterEmail Bail has been set at $1 million for a Jacksonville man charged in a deadly weekend shooting. Joshua E. Wilson, 37, of 27 Lavan Drive was arrested Tuesday on a charge of murder in the death of Malcolm V. Fitts, 26, of Chicago. Fitts, who is from Jacksonville, died about an hour after arriving Sunday at Passavant Area Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police had been called to the 800 block of Hoagland Boulevard about 5:30 a.m. Sunday because of reports of shots being fired. Wilson was being held Wednesday in the Morgan County Detention Facility. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 30.
