Ballad Health is enhancing the hours of its community vaccination centers and extending eligibility guidelines to make COVID-19 vaccines widely accessible and available in the region. Ballad Healthâs community vaccination center, or CVC, in Kingsport is now open from 2-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-noon on Fridays. The Elizabethton center is open from 3-8 p.m. Monday -Friday. The health systemâs Virginia center will maintain its established operating hours. All centers require appointments. As of Wednesday, the Virginia center will be open to all community members over the age of 16 â regardless of contributing health conditions â bringing vaccine centers in the Commonwealth in step with their Tennessee counterparts.
