Standing in the dock of Antrim Crown Court, 56-year-old Kevin Anthony Maybin entered a guilty plea to a charge of wounding on May 14, 2017. Previous courts have heard how Maybin lost his temper and struck the other man about the head with the hurling stick after being told off for using foul language in front of children at an under-16 game.
