Organizers with the Barrington Municipal Exhibition say they will wait until later in the summer before deciding the future of this year’s event. The Shelburne County event is typically held in August and officials want to wait and will evaluate the COVID situation at that time. The Barrington Exhibition is hopeful they can host some events but no decisions have been made. The Exhibition Association of Nova Scotia announced earlier this month large scale events would not be possible because of the uncertainty around COVID-19. However, EANS stated smaller events could take place in some communities. The Bridgewater exhibition has already been cancelled due to financial concerns around hosting smaller events.
