Basham retires from County Commission; Taylor councilman nom

Wayne County Commissioner Raymond Basham is retiring at the end of the year. On Tuesday, Taylor Councilman Butch Ramik resigned from the council, saying Basham has nominated him to fill out his term on the commission. The matter goes before the full commission for a vote in January.
