A dramatic drop in temperatures will unleash an Arctic snow blast across parts of the UK later today. The latest BBC weather forecast shows that 'evaporative cooling' will spark a sudden plunge into subzero temperatures. BBC meteorologist Chris Fawkes warned that this will cause up to 15cm of snow to blanket parts of the UK within the next 24 hours.
