Season, temperatures down in rural spots, 4 to minus six. But it is all change tomorrow. In some areas, temperatures could be 10 degrees up on that. One of the reasons for that isa on that. One of the reasons for that is a change of wind direction and a weather front pushing in from the north west. It is bringing cloud and rain as we speak, but further east, we cling onto the sunshine. I suspect the rest of the afternoon, if we draw a line up towards the isle of wight, east of that we will keep crisp and clear blue skies, and sunshine. Chilly with it. Cloud with light rain along west facing coastline, with strong wind and heavy rain arriving into the northwest. That brings milder air, but underneath those guys, temperatures will struggle, down on where they should be for the time of year. Where they should be for the time of yea r. Frost where they should be for the time of year. Frost is likely if we keep clear skies in the south east, but elsewhere, thick cloud, a breeze through the night, and some rain turning heavy as it moves in through the northwest. The wind is picking up, gusty winds from a south westerly direction first thing tomorrow morning. Temperatures all over the shop, five or six with clear skies, cloud and rain first thing, double digits. Behind the rain, maybe something fresher. In scotla nd rain, maybe something fresher. In scotland and northern ireland, you could see the worst of the rain having cleared and brighter skies. Some rain may be snow on the mountains of scotland, before moving through. Heavy bursts likely across wales and South West England for a time. Pretty dismaljourney to work oi time. Pretty dismaljourney to work or School Tomorrow morning. Ahead of it, clouding over in the south east, maybe early brightness clouding over. As we go through the day, rain, some heavy, will drift further inland across the pennines through the midlands to the isle of wight, maybe staying dry during Daylight Hours into the south east. Behind it, bright, breezy with a scattering of showers, fresher here, 6 degrees. We could see 11 as a high in the south east corner. The rain will sweep its way steadily eastwards through tuesday night into wednesday, behind it, clearskies and temperatures falling away briefly. This transient ridge trying to build, but you can see another weather front waiting, and we do it again on thursday. That is the story throughout the week, no two stays the same. A reminder of our main story this lunchtime a huge leak of documents casts new light on how millions of pounds are invested in offshore tax havens. Three bbc actors are among those implicated. We understand he has had talks with the clu b understand he has had talks with the club in recent weeks. It was only yesterday he was on tv and expressed an interest in the position. He was the former everton and Manchester United manager and most recently with sunderland. It did not go well for him there and he was relegated from the premier league with sunderland. Is he the frontrunner . Well have to wait and see, but whoever comes in, it will have to be somebody to inspire the players to get the best out of them as the morale is quite low at the moment. Thanks. Former england captain alan shearer says Arsene Wenger owes Raheem Sterling an apology, after the arsenal manager accused him of diving. Arsenal lost 3 1 at Manchester City and wenger questioned whether sterling had been brought down or had dived to win a penalty, but shearer said it was a clear cut foul. Wenger also said the standard of refereeing in the premier league was getting worse and worse, and that citys third goal was offside. I believe there was no penalty, it was a provoked penalty by sterling. We know that he dives very well. He does that very well. And the third goal was offside. And im very upset because at 2 1, we were in the game and we looked like we could score, we had many dangerous situations. The fa cup provided an upset or two this weekend, with a few league sides knocked out by non league opposition, so theyll be eagerly awaiting this evenings draw for the second round. The draw for a tennis tournament to be held in milan next week has been criticised as sexist, after female models were asked to remove an item of clothing to determine which group each player would be in. And that current wta player cornet, ended her post with, actor zero. The atp and the Italian Tennis Federation co sanctioning this event. The draw ceremony was sponsored and largely organised by red bull. The idea, ithink, was sponsored and largely organised by red bull. The idea, i think, was to pay tribute to milans place in the fashion industry. I understand the atp is furious with the way the draw was executed and realise it was in very poor taste. We are waiting for a formal response from the atp and red bull, although the Italian Federation have said they had nothing to do with the draw. So breaking news that a british man has died after being kidnapped while travelling in Nigerias Delta state three weeks ago. President trumps commerce secretary, wilbur ross, has been talking about the Paradise Papers revelation that he has interests in a shipping company with links to a Russian Energy firm. Speaking to the bbcs economics editor, kamal ahmed, mr ross said the media were giving more emphasis to the story than it deserved. Well, i think the media has made a lot of more out of it than it deserves. First of all, the company in question, sibur, is a very major hydrocarbon company. Its commercial relationship with Navigator Holdings is simply that navigator charters some vessels to them. Theres no interlocking of board. Theres no interlocking of shareholders. I had nothing to do with the negotiation of the deal. And, in fact, it was negotiated before i went on the board of navigator. But most importantly, the company that is our client, sibur itself, was not then sanctioned, is not now sanctioned, and never was sanctioned in between. So theres nothing whatsoever improper about navigator having a relationship with sibur. I dont know any of those individuals, ive never met them, certainly not had any commercial dealings with them. Is there not, though, or some critics might suggest there is something improper with the commerce secretary of the United States having an interest in a company that gains from a relationship with russia . Well, you use the terminology gained from a relationship with a company in russia. If our government decided to sanction them, that would be a different story. Our government has not thus far made the determination to sanction them, so theres nothing wrong with it. The fact that it happens to be called a Russian Company does not mean that theres any evil in it. Where there is evil is the misstatement that i did not disclose those holdings in my originalform. The original form is called 278 and the Navigator Holdings are disclosed in three separate places. I have written them down, just to be precise. 10. 14. 15. 10. 1513. 24. 1. 4. 2. And in addition, theyre disclosed on the office of government ethics public website, namely, oge. Gov. So the notion that there was something misleading to the committee, or to anyone else, simply has no basis in fact. That was wilbur ross talking to the bbcs economics editor. Straight to the business now with rebecca. Two leaders of another pair of organisations that are members of the cbi are the Aerospace Defence and Security Organisation a ds, a lobby group for the industries of the same name. And the Software Giant advance, and both aussies join me now. Paul everitt first, from the ads. What is the most pressing issue for your sector . Two we have been talking about this morning. The first is brexit and the key is to get a formal confirmation between the uk and the eu that there is going to be an Implementation Phase ora going to be an Implementation Phase or a transition phase, so that many businesses can have the time to make the changes they need to make in a measured way, rather than having to plan for the worst case scenario. Another issue you are greatly concerned about is productivity, but your industry is doing very well. Production rates have gone up 30 in five years. Record profits. Why is this a big issue for you . We are pa rt this a big issue for you . We are part of a Global Industry and competition is intense around the world, especially for successful Industries Like aerospace. While the big players are very productive and doing reasonably well, we have a supply chain in the uk that really needs to keep moving forward. And to do that, they do need some help and support. And one of the things we are looking to the chancellor for is to help, if you like, developed a Productivity Programme to ensure that the best practice that exists within the Top Companies can be transferred more speedily into their supply chain. Thank you very much. Gordon wilson, your company advanced, it does impact into our lives in all sorts of ways. One of your customers is the nhs, for example. Yes, it is the Third Largest uk Software Business and we operate in four areas. Principally in the public sector, including the nhs, local gunman and Central Government and schools and education. The private sector, for companies and corporate. And in the legal sector full legal firms and practices. And into it outsourced and Manual Service contracts. We employ about two dozen people in the uk. You are active in the field of artificial intelligence. A lot of people are nervous about that, particularly on the subject that it may make us human is redundant. Im not sure that is quite going to happen. I think in the big picture and in the long reach, it will be positive from a net perspective. What i would say is that we are the Fourth Industrial Revolution and all businesses have to say, are they ready for the Digital Transformation that they really should be doing . That is not a controversial question, that is to provoke thought. I think that of four things all Business Leaders should be thinking about. Be brave about what they will do their business. Ask the tough questions about, is this the right thing . Planet and execute. If they dont, they will miss the window and it could be very damaging if they do not execute on the Digital Transformation. Succinctly put thank you very much. We are staying at the cbi conference for the rest of the afternoon for the bbc news channel and we will report backin bbc news channel and we will report back in about one hours time. Thank you.
