Sun-Times file photo A 17-year-old boy was shot Wednesday evening in Belmont Central on the North West Side. About 8 p.m. the boy was fighting with another male in the 2400 block of North Meade Avenue when the male pulled out a gun and shot him in the abdomen, Chicago police said. The boy was brought to Saint Mary’s Hospital and later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said. No one is in custody as Area Five detectives investigate.
