Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra News Live Updates: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav is set to join Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on the platform during a public gathering in Kaimur district on Friday, as part of his ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'. Gandhi is scheduled to address a public gathering at Dhaneychha in the Durgawati block of Kaimur. Following the rally, the Congress leader will proceed to Uttar Pradesh on the same day. This marks the first occasion where the RJD leader will be seen sharing the stage with Gandhi in Bihar since state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar severed ties with the INDIA bloc. On Thursday, the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' arrived in Bihar's Aurangabad. During a public rally at Gandhi Maidan in Aurangabad on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi lauded the Supreme Court's verdict striking down electoral bonds. He pledged to conduct a financial survey across the country if elected to power in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Addressing the gathering, Rahul emphasized the lack of representation of OBCs, Dalits, and backward classes, constituting 73 per cent of the population, in various sectors such as corporate, industries, media, and high courts. He proposed a nationwide caste census to ensure broader representation of marginalized communities across different spheres, describing it as a social X-ray to gauge the population distribution of each community.
