Coldwater, MI, USA / WTVB | 1590 AM · 95.5 FM | The Voice of Branch County Mar 6, 2021 7:03 AM BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council is scheduled to award a bid of over $1.1 million on Monday night to Concord Excavating and Grading of Concord for the Ruggles and Compton Street project. City Manager Brandon Mersman says they were the low bidder for the project following last Tuesday’s bid opening. Mersman says their bid is well below the estimated cost for the work of of $1,348,700. The City received six bids for the project with the highest coming in at just under $1.7 million. Bronson was awarded a $1.3 million grant last September to assist with the project.
