INDEPENDENCE — Writing history is really nothing new for Valle Catholic High School 145-pound junior wrestler Josh Bieser.
After all, back in January, Bieser became the first-ever Southeast Missouri Regional Wrestling Conference league champion for the Warriors.
The stakes were indeed higher at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 1 state meet last Wednesday at Cable Dahmer Arena.
But, Bieser continued to etch his name in the Valle Catholic record books — taking second place overall behind seasoned Lawson grappler Tyler Leonard in the 145-pound weight division.
