"Home," released in September 2019, is Strings' second studio album. It was produced by East Lansing producer Glenn Brown. "We're super excited," Brown said. "We knew we had a chance at it. A lot of people like Billy. He seems to be going over pretty well across the country, so we thought there was a shot at it, and sure enough, it worked out." Much of the album was recorded live in Nashville studios, Brown said, a testament to the musicians who are "so good they could play their solos first takes." "How many bands do you think actually perform live on their albums?" he said. "It's extremely rare."
