BJWSA evaluates locations for Bluffton water tower : vimarsa

Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority has been focusing on an area near Buckwalter Place as the potential site of a water tower in Bluffton. 
The area near that intersection of Bluffton and Buckwalter parkways scored highest in an evaluation of four potential sites, BJWSA director of engineering Rebecca Bowyer said at a Town Council workshop last month. 
Bowyer said BJWSA had not selected an exact location for the water tower and told council members the utility would consider a suggestion to take a closer look at another site near the Buckwalter Recreation Center. 
The water tower is part of a project “to improve the flow of water to the growing area in and around” Bluffton, a BJWSA news release said.
