Brooke Simpson has joined BKD CPAs & Advisorsâ national tax services division as an international tax partner based in the firmâs Nashville office. Simpson will provide BKD clients with strategic tax planning for U.S. and foreign multinational organizations and funds. She has experience with international structures, including operations and restructurings, foreign tax credits, repatriation, permanent establishments, corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing and principal structures. According to a release, Simpson also brings private equity advisory experience on international tax aspects of the mergers and acquisitions process through Internal Revenue Code Section 304(a)(1) and (a)(2) transaction planning, IP planning and debt pushdown structures in the global tax restructuring process. She is not replacing a BKD partner.
