Black River holding modified Project Term to close school year HOLLAND — In a typical year, students at Black River Public School close the year by signing up for unique monthlong, project-based classes. While this school year has been anything but typical, BR modified its Project Term to still give students fun educational opportunities. This year’s Project Term was condensed to a two-week session to close the school year and instead of students signing up for projects, each BR teacher is incorporating Project Term into the normal daily schedule. Students in the elementary school participate with their normal class, while those in the middle and high school are continuing with their block schedule.
