A gang of young thugs who were filmed brutally bashing a vulnerable and partially blind grandfather in broad daylight have been convicted over the cowardly attack. The 63-year-old man was walking near Pelister Place in Melbourne's Sunshine West when he was dragged onto an oval and attacked by the group of cowards. The young men, ranging in age from 16 to 20, continued to kick and punch the elderly man in the head before stealing his phone and shoes.
