Could they get to a trial. We know Mitch Mcconnell wants to get it over with quick. Jordan it depends on which day nancy pelosi would hold a vote in the house. Mcconnell wants to get rolling right away so he could begin the trial within days of nancy pelosi having that vote. We could be looking at a trial beginning as soon as the end of next week or perhaps the week after. Enactmentalso have an we also have an announcement of new sanctions on iran. Are there really more than before . Jordan a little bit they have targeted copper and iron producers and sanctioning more perfect more officials, but as you hinted at the u. S. Has sanctioned so much of irans economy and placed so much pressure on iran, official say this is an effort to get iran to return to the negotiating table. Leadership has not given any indication they are willing to do that, especially in the aftermath of the airstrike they got from soleimani last week. David that is jordan fabian. Now we go to maria tadeo in brussels. Foreign ministers of the eu were meeting to try to see if they can keep that nuclear deal together. Where are they . Maria the meeting is still ongoing. You can see the criticism. It has taken a week for european Foreign Ministers to meet in brussels. We do not have a plan. The fact that we did get that information out of Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of canada, perhaps suggesting the ukrainian plane was shot down by iran has shifted the conversation in brussels. You do have to keep in mind ukraine is not a member state of the eu but it does work closely with the eu. A number of Foreign Ministers saying they want to see exactly what happened to that plane. Why was it shot down. Who made that decision and why did it happen in any case . It probably should never have happened. What we move over to the nuclear deal, the europeans believe it is time for everyone to deescalate and take a step back. A lot of what happens will depend on that plane crash and the findings around what exactly happened. David what can they do about that . We have various western countries saying we are pretty sure it was a missile, a surfacetoair missile, probably mistakenly fired by iran. What can the european Foreign Ministers do . You can also see this is a tricky situation because european Foreign Ministers were caught off guard by the action taken by the u. S. They do believe they are not naive about this, that iran has crossed a number of redlines and they have been actively trying to ignite a reaction from the west. One of the things they could do is turn up the sanctions. This is already an economy badly hurt because of the sanctions. You do have big u. S. Sanctions. It is unclear what the European Play would be. Where they see space for negotiation is around the nuclear deal. Their line of thinking is when the situation deescalate, the only place where they could beat and have a dialogue is around the nuclear deal. It is only the eu that has kept that door open to iran. They believe if iran was serious about walking away from the nuclear deal, they would have done it already in a much more aggressive way. They see that door open to more negotiations, and we know President Trump does believe the deal is 100 dead. David that is for sure. Thanks a much. Great reporting from muscles. From brussels. That is maria tadeo. Joining us in new york is Carl Riccadonna. It is jobs day. Headline numbers a little disappointing . Carl yes. For those who were thinking that trade to taunt the trade detente and Interest Rate cuts was reading to affirm her outlook for 2020, the jobs bit of a reality check. Missing on the Headline Payroll prints, but the work week was revised to lower over the last several months. Also we saw a lack of wage pressures continuing to be evident in the economy. This is a lukewarm economy. It is not an economy rolling over. It is a stark reminder that we are going to be in a tough slog for 2020. Looking for about 2 growth. Todays numbers does not change that estimate. It did signal that Consumer Spending is going to have a heavy load stone around it this year. David that is the point. The year the reason we care about the number is how much does the consumer have to spend. Carl the consumer has been the dominant driver. You would not have had growth over the last couple of quarters if it was not that look from consumers. If you look at that aggregate trend, you can see a deceleration. It certainly bears watching. We can see we have been at this was an 2016 and 2017, and milquetoast economy and that. In that period. We did manage to muddle through. That is what we are looking for. David lukewarm. There you have it. Thanks to Carl Riccadonna. Now lets get a check on the markets and how they are doing. Joining us is Abigail Doolittle. I do not whip i do not know where to start. Abigail i think traders are tired. Very small moves to the downside. In a week where some were talking about the possibility we could see world war iii and then the middle east tensions diffused. So many stories this week. Investors seem to be taking a low bit of a breather. Volume is below average. We do have a bid for bonds. Gold higher. There is a slight risk off town even though the stop declines are small. Earlier the dow did go above 29,000 . We do have hedging going on in the haven assets. If you take a look at what is happening with the vix, basically suppressed, but as is normal the vix curb going out, telling you investors think there could be volatility ahead. David this is the point where you say what counts are earnings. Next week we get Bank Earnings. Abigail Bank Earnings and then the week after that the tech earnings. It is interesting to see whether we can come out of that. With everett with tech driving everything, the nasdaq up for the fifth week in a row. It will be one of the do or die moments where we have to come out of the earnings recession. Tech has been in an earnings recession. David it is all up to tech. Thanks to Abigail Doolittle for that report. Now we turn to Mark Crumpton with bloomberg first word news. Mark plans for President Trumps impeachment trial are moving forward. Nancy pelosi says she has asked Judiciary Committee chairman Jerrold Nadler to be prepared to bring a resolution to the house floor to appoint managers and send the articles of impeachment to the senate next week. The move comes more than three weeks after the house impeached the president for the charge p. M. The abuse the power of his office by pressuring ukraines leader to investigate democrats. The president insists he did nothing wrong. The Trump Administration is posing new sanctions on iran following the attack on u. S. Military bases. Steelnctions target the industry as well as eight senior officials. Steven mnuchin and mike pompeo announced the measures at the white house today. Secretary mnuchin said sanctions waivers will be issued for americans to help with the investigation of the ukrainian jet that crashed near tehran. In puerto rico, unusual seismic activity and aftershocks are delaying recovery after 6. 4 magnitude earthquake. Hundreds of thousands of people are still without power and water. Thousands are staying in shelters and sleeping on sidewalks. Tuesdays quake killed one person, hurt nine others, and damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes or businesses. The latest aftershock measured 4. 36 magnitude. India says the shutdown enforced by Prime Minister modi in cashmere is illegal and in abuse of power. The ruling was critical of the government but stopped short of overturning the communication and transport restrictions that have been in place since august, decadedi strapped seven scrapped seven decades of autonomous status for cashmere. For kashmir. Global news 24 hours a day, on air and on quicktake by bloomberg, powered by more than 2700 journalists and analysts in over 120 countries. I am Mark Crumpton. This is bloomberg. Coming up, an economist from the Washington Center for equitable growth to take us through the jobs numbers. This is balance of power on Bloomberg Television and radio. A gain inw you had the Household Survey which skews to the younger businesses to show the vitality of the economy. I think this is a strong report. David that was larry kudlow, director of the u. S. Economic council speaking to Bloomberg Radio and television earlier today. Here to take us through the jobs numbers is the director of Macro Economic policy at the Washington Center for equitable growth. She earlier served on the staff of the Federal Reserve and she role. Author of the some thank you so much for joining us. Lets get your initial reaction to the jobless numbers. We have Carl Riccadonna saying lukewarm. What good one. I see a lot of positive. Not positive everywhere, but theres a lot to celebrate in this report. David topline numbers were lower than what was expected in terms of jobs created. The wages were not growing as fast as they had been. Claudia let me start with the payroll numbers. It is true the payroll gains came in under expectations, but i wan yr numbers, especially as far as we are into an expansion. For several years economists have looked at these numbers and said these are higher than what we need to suste the solid labor market. I know this is not what we were looking for what it is good. We asked about wages ann q that is in those in this report. It is not just a disappointment, it is a puzzle. Down forge gains dropw3 the year of 2019. Expecting for some time this wage growth to pick up. T is a puzzle we have on it ployt meantjfxdqe have unemployment below 4 through 2019. That is a level many think should be putting pressure on the labor market. E1qqwe do not see it. David i mentioned the role that mf ming named after you and it indicator of recession, the sahm rule. As i understand thezl is not a chance of recession, but now we start to think about what would happen if there were a downturn. Ijf talked to Larry Summers, the former treasury secretary yesterday about that. His plan to have an automatic physicalfa intrusion. This is what he said. Olivia blendq chart and i w talkingr some automatic stabilizers, the cofaidea that rather than relyir togress to organize itself act each time theres an economic downturn, we should do v0ain changes in spending. D6 is directly related to the sahm t rule because that is one of te triggers people think they might use for the rule Larry Summers lpdescribed. Claudia lp i agree with larry. Exists,on thet jf sahm rule the reason ifa needed to think about when we are in a recession is because i had think i had looked at eight policy proposal to push out direct payments to households and have congress commit to those before we get to the point we need them. I want to addr proposal, there was a volume called recessiontuweady that cae out in may of next year. The Washington Center for equitable growth, the hamilton project Work Together on this volume, and in addition to the direct payments i proposed, there were many ways to add stabilizers that would make Infrastructure Investment automatic and to strengthen the ones we have like unemployment insurance. Hink this is an excellet idea. , we are not inv recession right now. If you just look at the nd the changes we have been seeing, which are non, it is flat. We have time. This would be a wonderful thing for policymakers to focus on. We are never ready for a recession. They are very destructive. Me. I]is it doable in washington . We spent time at the government. Congress does not like to give up its discretion. You had set a rule that down the t uze1niti say whether you do business or not. Republican or democrat will give up that . Claudia jn3 a few points one1 t. No one wants or likes a recession. Cpolicy will help make a recession morexd severe shows we are thinking ahead. E1this is good policy. Gone out havee1 in the past two recessions. W3congress got together and didt before. E1doing that aheade1 of time, tg it has helped businesses now that we aree1 committed. We have your back when there is a recession and we can move fast. E1one of the things i put in my Congress Wants to show they are acting in the there is still a vli lc h claudia sahmfae1 from the Washington Center for equitable growth. Power on fafa balance oft Bloomberg Television andr david this is balance of power on Bloomberg Television and radio. Iran is continuing to dispute the growing consensus that the ukrainian Passenger Airline that crashed earlier this week was brought down by an errant surfacetoair missile. In a press conference yesterday, Justin Trudeau said there was evidence to support that. We have intelligence from multiple sources, including our allies and our own intelligence. The evidence indicates the plane was shot down by an iranian surfacetoair missile. This may well have been unintentional. Raises questions about who will be involved in the investigation. We welcome my colleague, anchor of the Weekly Radio ProgramBloomberg Law and a Global Affairs analyst and former spokesperson for the organization for security and cooperation. Great to have you, michael, back with us. Willus a sense of how iran approach this delicate question. They do not want an embarrassment. Michael they do not. This is an opportunity for them to turn tragedy into an opportunity by being transparent and having the most expert and professional investigation possible and inviting in foreign experts. Looking at the news, there are now reports the crash site, which is a crime scene, is being plowed by bulldozers. That is compromising the crime scene and there are human remains. Those are not being handled with the dignity they should. In the crash of ma 17 that human remains were being found months and months after. The crash site has not been secured and major pieces of the plane have been taken away, then you have scavengers going through. What does that do to the investigation of what happens . Michael it compromise it terribly. If it was a missile that brought it down, it is important that investigators look carefully as it fell to the ground. That is part of the signature of a crash is how the debris fell to the ground. There could be clues in the human remains residue from a missile, that type of things. I cannot stress enough that you need that Perimeter Security from day one so investigators can come look at this with their expert eyes. Initially iranian leaders said the u. S. Would be able to participate in investigations and that boeing would not be able to participate. It has since said they have invited the ntsb of the u. S. As well as boeing to take part in the investigation, also frances aviation investigation authority. Does that indicate there might be more transparency and there might be more Technical Expertise . Michael this is a good sign. They have also invited canadas transportation secretary. These willgn parties only be given a they will be on the sidelines. They will only see what the iranians show them. That to me is not good enough. The best expertise in the world in terms of crash exploration is in the United States. David there was a piece in the bloomberg today that said this may not be hard to figure out. If it were a missile, it would be pretty obvious. Maybe the iranians cannot hide that. Michael the parallels between mh17 and this crash are startling. We found two days out there are unique marks in the fuselage you do not see anywhere else that led us to believe it did come from a missile. , the Similar Technology missiles that were reportedly used in both crashes. Mike pompeo said today in a press conference that we do believe the plane was shot down by an iranian missile. There is probably evidence already. Michael everything needs to be put on the table. There are thousands and thousands of pieces of evidence, including code from the black box. I would caution people to jump to conclusions. I noticed the Ukrainian Foreign minister and president zelensky are saying it could be a missile but to not jump to conclusions. They are treading a cautious line. David it is something we have ukraine involve again and russian supplied missiles. Michael the parallels are stunning. This has russian fingerprints all over it once again. A civilian airliner is brought down by a russian missile, if it is true what we are hearing today. They need to be held accountable as well. They did sell this missile to a regime that is hard to trust when it comes to handling missile technology. David thanks so much to Global Affairs analyst and my colleague. You can listen to june five days a week and on saturday on Bloomberg Law erring on Bloomberg Radio. Coming up next, a december cooling. It is jobs day and we go through the implications of the report with our panel, next. This is balance of power and we are on Bloomberg Television and radio. And they lived happily ever after. Reporting, have been plans for President Trumps impeachment trial are moving forward. Nancy pelosi says she has asked Jerrold Nadler to be prepared to bring resolution to the house floor to appoint managers and send the articles of impeachment to the senate next week. It comes more than three weeks after the house impeached the president on the charge he abused power of his office pressuring ukraines new leader to investigate democrats. Mr. Trump insists he did nothing wrong. Russia may be to undermine joe biden in the 2020 race. Bloomberg has learned u. S. Intelligence and Law Enforcement officials are assessing whether russia is trying to weaken the Democratic Front runner by promoting controversy over his involvement with ukraine. American intelligence agencies found russia worked to damage Hillary Clintons campaign in 2016. United states is rejecting iraqs demand for troops to leave. Iraq made the statement after u. S. Airstrikes killed a top iranian general. The state Department Says talks are underway with representatives of nato about increasing the alliances role in iraq. Uss the governments need to have a compensation, not just take not estate conversation about security but about their financial and domestic partnership. Northern irelands Political Parties are beating today to decide whether to accept the deal to restore the belfastbased government. Northern ireland has been without a functioning Administration Since the powersharing government collapsed in january of 2017 over a botched green energy project. The dail includes Financial Support from the u. K. For big Infrastructure Projects if the government is restored. Global news, 24 hours a day, on air and on quicktake by bloomberg, powered by more than 2700 journalists and analysts in over 120 countries. I am Mark Crumpton. This is bloomberg. David it is jobs day in the United States. The top job numbers for job and wage gains came in below estimates. The Unemployment Rate held at historic 50year low of 3. 5 . For possible implications welcome our panel in washington. Joel kane, former senior aide to Hillary Clintons president of campaign, and Jamie Weinstein from j mw strategies. Fortunately named for Jamie Weinstein. Joel, this is still a Strong Economy and there is some indications President Trump is gaining more and more credit for that. This is a real uphill battle for democrats going into 2020. Joel it begs mentioning it was a Strong Economy he inherited as well. If you look at the last 35 months of obama and the first 35 months of trump, its a 14 dip in terms of job growth. Some of the system narrative chasing the trump folks, but no one will talk down the economy. Really has president no excuse to not have more public support. I think that says something about him. If this is the high watermark over the economy will be, that is bad news for him when the economy actually levels off work dips or dips. David given the economy does appear so strong, cuellar and his approval numbers higher than they are . You would think they are doing better than they are. Jamie people are tired of what you see on twitter, but the president knows the economy is what will get him reelected. If the economy is in good shape a year from now, the voters tired of seeing what they see on twitter, tired of all the hoopla that goes along with this presidency if the economy is good they will more likely vote for him. Isthere pocketbook doing well. Donald trump knows the most important thing is a stronger economy a year from now. Himt now, especially with getting that china trade deal out of the way, he seems like he is in strong shape going into next november. David joel, i will not ask it was the nominatee for the democrats. One pole from fox news out today indicated tom steyer for member tom steyer . The is number two in South Carolina and number three in nevada. This could go a long way, maybe even to the conventions. Joel thank you for taking out the hot seat. With regards the tom steyer, hes really had a lot of access to the marketplace without a lot of competition on the airwaves. Talk to people who have been down and a lot of those bustling metropolises in South Carolina and they will tell you he has been a liver the airways. They are very well organized on the ground in South Carolina. Saidked to an insider who they have 100 staff across the state. 70 are africanamerican. More than half from within 10 miles of where they grew up, meaning these are local folks with local credibility. Clearly they have made inroads. Whether or not they can build on this and become a real contender, that is to be determined. The also has strong numbers in nevada. In the hots put you seat, jamie. It was not a big surprise that the houseboats on the war powers act and the democrats support that. What was more of a surprise was met gains, a republican from florida who came out criticizing the president not so much about what he did but what about but about not stepping up with congress. If the members of the Armed Services have the courage to go and fight and die in these wars, as congress we should have the courage to vote for them or against them. I support the president. Killing soleimani was the right decision, but another forever were in the middle east would be the wrong decision and that is why i am voting for this resolution. David i dont normally hear him come out against the president on anything. He was for taking out soleimani, but he disagrees with the continuation of hostility. Does that give you any pause . Jamie i dont think they are cracks. I think there was a possibility at this point. Mo, hes an interesting figure. Bombastic, times throwing out red meat, supporting the president , but his unorthodox on a lot of republican issues. He thinks there should be robust action to fight global warming. He will find issues where he will take the stance that is at odds not only with President Trump but without the republicans. Occasionally you will see reactions like this. He made it clear he was not deviating or criticizing the president. He was trying to make a stance for taking back congressional power on matters of war and peace. He is someone i think is trying to take the mantle of trumpism. If donald trump does or not get elected the cycle, i would not be surprised if he tries himself to run for president in 2024. David jumping, joel. Joel lets over your party that is not true. Advocate ofnot an the republican party. I am a conservative but im noting as a fact its in the back of his mind that he wants inbe a potential name to run 2024. David i did not take jamie saying he would prevail. Joel, one quick thought. Nancy pelosi will send the articles over. Is this one and done . Joel sure. Speaker was not going to be pressured. As someone sitting here with a stuffed shirt on tv will not tell nancy pelosi what to do. She has demonstrated she has had the best little instincts of anybody in america. She knows what she is doing and was able to assert some pressure, get some republican members to talk about fair trial, witnesses in the allowing the bolton news to come out. I think she feels good about where this landed. David there is no question she is really a shrewd and able politician. Thanks to our political panel. It is time for the stop of the hour. Almost 2 nowling after the airline lowered its guidance for a key metric. Airlines have been in the news all week long, but tell us about american. It has not been a pretty weak for the likes of american. Total revenue programs essentially gauges the pricing power. In the Fourth Quarter it will be up less than expected. On the plus side they think cost will not rise but what catches my eye on a day like today is the commentary around boeing. 737s in its fleet. It has taken a 540 million hit to its pretax income. David they have done some kind of deal with boeing. Boeing is not having a good day on its own. These documents they got leaked, my goodness gracious. Its another bruise. Saidaa said one employee it was designed by clowns supervised by monkeys. It probably is just bruising on the reputation for a company that touts safety and prioritizes safety. It does not lend credence to the argument when you read that. The faa said no new safety concerns arose, but its damaging to the overall picture for boeing. David i wonder if our investors it raises questions about the culture. What is it say about the employees down the line . Maybe it was just one or two bad apples but it raises questions. It raises questions about the culture going forward. David calhoun is taking the helm on monday. In terms of ripple effects, one of its biggest suppliers, 50 of its revenue from the max, is cutting 2800 jobs with the production halt. You are seeing boeing investors and spirit investors, and this is trickling down to the economy overall. David we will have to wait for job stay 30 days from now. Thank you so much. Oning up, new u. S. Sanctions iran. Scrambling to save the nuclear deal. Fromrn to expert vali nasr Johns Hopkins school for international studies. Next on Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio. David this is balance of power. Iran has been at the top of the news every day for the last eight days. Today is no exception with european Foreign Ministers trying to salvage the nuclear deal and the announcement of new u. S. Sanctions against the Islamic Republic by Steven Mnuchin earlier today. We are announcing additional sanctions against the Iranian Regime as a result of the attack on u. S. And allied troops. David to give us perspective on all this we welcome now vali nasr. He is the professor of middle east studies and International Affairs at Johns Hopkins school of advanced international studies, having earlier served as the dean. Chief, thank you for being with us. Lets start with sanctions. Are these going to make any difference . Vali no, they are not. Sanctioned out in terms of meaningful impact on the economy. Symbolically they are important. The administration is signaling it is not looking for a diplomatic resolution to this crisis after the near war situation we saw last earlier this week. David what has been the effect on iran, its economy, its people . Is it putting pressure to bear on the regime . There was some indication there was a lot of unrest inside the country. Vali there is unrest in the country. The economy is under a terminus about a pressure. The Iranian Regime thinks it may be an existential moment and the United States is after regime change. It is for that reason it is trying to put pressure on President Trump through attacking tankers, saudi arabia, and last week bombing rockets into a base were american personnel were. Almost got out of hand and came close to the two sides going to war. There is an opportunity to see if there is a way for the United States to use the leverage it has with sanctions to push for a different medic solution. The new sections do not help in that regard. They sent the wrong signal. David there is a lot of focus on this Airline Shutdown in tehran the night of the attacks. How important was that within iran . Is it possible i can damage the regime and be embarrassing . Vali it is not so much a matter of embarrassment as it is it shows the iranian people the country, their back is against the wall. They are really in a war situation. If you are that trigger sensitive to shoot a civilian airliner that just took off from your own airport, it suggests you are in a National Crisis environment. You have a broader implication. There is talk of were descending all over the middle east, not just on iran. There are a lot of airplanes and business that go through that region. If you end up in a tense situation across the persian gulf in which you might have mistakenly shoot down an airplane because a country think there is an eminent war, it will have a big impact on Global Business as far as the middle east is concerned. David it is a stated goal of to try to in iran exclude u. S. Forces, kick them out of the region overall. We had the iraqi Prime Minister today sent word to the United States, we would like to send a delegation to talk about withdrawing troops. Is there a realistic probability or possibility we would have to pull our forces out of iraq . Vali it is possible. Now the politicians have spoken and this might be a lot of theater, but if this sentiment spreads into the streets and the iraqis decide the United States not respect their sovereignty, treating it like a colonial territory and they decide to shoot down anything it wants at any time, the iraqis and the iranian general, once it goes into the street and you have nationalism arousing against the United States this will not be a matter of just the president talking to the iraqi Prime Minister. It will find a life of its own. United states is not really able to operate well in a country where the population does not want them there. It raises the cost of the u. S. Staying. It is considerable we will go there. The u. S. Has handled this situation well. The iraqis atd every turn. Please dont play well with the average citizen. David how much of things changed on the ground in iraq . Before this exchange of attacks on iraqi soil there were demonstrations in the streets. Of corruptionse but also concerns about iranian influence in iraq. Now we have flipped that around to say we are concerned about the u. S. Chedmuch have we snat defeat from the jaws of victory . In reality we created a nationalistsre the rallied to the flag. They forgot about their own protests for now. In iraq we are also seeing the issue of the United States behavior in iraq and whether or not it will stay that is becoming front and center. It does not mean the issues will continue to dominate, but for now the u. S. Has relieved a lot of pressure from the Iranian Regime. Both in its own country and iraq. A lot morean breathing room to be able to sort of regroup oath at home and also in iraq. David earlier this week President Trump said he believed in thes standing down conflict with the United States. Do,ing iran as well as you does that make sense to you . Are they worried about escalating it further . Vali they are. They essentially stood down from that particular standoff that could have escalated at that moment into a direct confrontation with the u. S. Iran is not really looking to take on the most powerful military in the world. However, the issues between iran and the United States are still there, and iran is under draconian sanctions and today the United States added to them. The status quo the United States cannot change its focus and shift its attention to china or any other issue and forget about the region. There is as, unless change in the economic situation, they will have to continue to disrupt the status quo, continue to try to bring back u. S. Attention to themselves in the region, and hope somehow President Trump will calculate that he might have to give something if he does not want iran to be an ongoing headache during an election year. David iran subsidizes militia groups in the region. Do they have control over this . If they tell them to stand down, will they . Vali some well and some may not. The most senior militia commander in iraq, the mastermind of the malicious in iraq, could put the question at this particular moment how much command and control exists over ine 30 malicious malitias iraq. The militias may find a life of their own. As is the case, iran can order a particular militia to shoot rockets at the u. S. But in cannot control all military behavior. David thank you, vali nasr. Later. Th him this is balance of power. For 17 years, i was considered a role model in japan. More than 20 books of management were written about me. All of a sudden a new prosecutor. You know what . This guy is a cold, cold, greedy dictator. David in a week full of iran, much of it was also given over to carlos ghosn and is 2. 5 hour News Conference defending himself from a japanese authorities from what he decided was a real unfair treatment by them in tokyo. When i sat down with Larry Summers and Roger Ferguson for our new program, bloomberg wall street week, i asked what they made out of the carlos ghosn and about Corporate Governance more broadly. You will not find many ceos doing it to our press conference. Do, thatding what they will be a major statement to keep going forward. David it was pretty extort nearing. Carlos ghosn went on about who signed off on his media. This is a guy who broke bail. Of the a trumpification ceo. Law,nia, disregard for total selfinvolvement. This is extraordinary, but like many extraordinary things like donald trump himself, it stands for much broader trends that are matters of great concern. David that is just a small part of our talk. Bloomberg wall street week premieres tonight. It also airs on Bloomberg Radio and is available everywhere online. An update on airbus. The company delivered 863 jets in 2019, slightly ahead of estimates. It sets a record is boeing deals with trouble with the 737 max. This is bloomberg. Jonathan from new york city, bloomberg real yield starts right now. Jonathan the data in america leaving the fed on the sidelines. A recordbreaking week of debt issuance in europe, and the biggest influx in america. A middleoftheroad payrolls report. This report was mixed. Middleoftheroad. Right down the middle of the fairway. Moderating but still good economy. Pretty good given where
