Alex’s family has been on the land in the Mt Gardiner area, near Marlborough, for nearly 100 years. Her parents Lynette and Tim Olive, run a feedlot, Brahman Stud and commercial breeding operation at their property, Apis Creek. The Brisbane St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School boarding student loves nothing more than going home to the property in the school holidays. “I’ve been working on the property almost since I could walk,” Alex said.
