Bon Secours health system acquiring affiliated local orthopedics practice

Bon Secours, the health system with four hospitals in the Richmond region, has inked an agreement to acquire longtime affiliate Tuckahoe Orthopaedics.
Bon Secours announced the acquisition agreement Friday. It’s unclear exactly what the acquisition will mean for the office footprint of Tuckahoe Orthopaedics or its current operations, or whether the acquisition will do away with the practice’s independent identity.
A Bon Secours spokeswoman declined to provide further comment on the deal Friday.
