An NFT (non-fungible token) is based on the blockchain technology, and it is one of the hottest trends as musicians and other artists are jumping into cryptocurrency, such as the recent Kings of Leon album release. Calling itself the “leading college-focused touring festival in the country,” organizers said in a release that the Breakaway Festival will offer “as part of the initial on sale for the events... limited edition ticket bundles that include an exclusive NFT for the first 500 fans who buy tickets in the presale.”
