Christian Braswell, a 5-10, 180-pound senior cornerback, will cross the Ben Franklin Bridge, and transfer to Rutgers where he’ll play out the rest of his college eligibility. He redshirted in 2017 and has played three consecutive years. He would regularly have one year of eligibility remaining, but, due to the NCAA’s free year, he’ll have two. Braswell earned preseason All-American Athletic Conference recognition from Athlon’s and Phil Steele heading into the 2020 season. He finished it tied for fourth in the conference in forced fumbles per game (0.33). He also recorded an interception, two forced fumbles, a pass breakup and six tackles, tying his single-game career-high against Tulane that year.
