Bridgton, Windham begin planning to weather climate change The towns are part of a state pilot program to help communities deal with the environmental and economic impacts of more precipitation and flooding. Share The towns of Bridgton and Windham are teaming up with Greater Portland Council of Governments to explore how climate climate change is impacting their inland communities now and how it could in the future. The two towns are among eight communities across the state chosen for a pilot program to plan projects relating to climate resiliency planning. The program is funded by a $125,000 grant from the Maine Climate Council.
