'Absolutely crazy': Calls rejected in scramble for tests : v

"We are experiencing a higher than normal number of calls to our registration centre this morning and we know that some residents are waiting long periods or being disconnected," the Coast's health service advised on Sunday.
"Please be assured we are working to resolve this issue and we have extended the hours of our call centre."
They said phone lines would be open until 8pm tonight for those looking to register for COVID-19 tests.
The registration process involves a converation about your health with a nurse.
The testing clinic at Caloundra Health Service's Minor Injury and Illness Clinic will be open until 8pm tonight.
