Senior Constable Bede Little has been named the 2020 RFDS Queensland Hero for his work in the community and fundraising for the RFDS.

Community members have voted for Senior Constable Little to be the Queensland Hero from a list of regional 'Local Heroes', which represent each RFDS base across the state.
Senior Constable Little, who is now based in Longreach, was nominated for his work while stationed in neighbouring Ilfracombe because of the impact he had on the small central western community.
