View Comments The median home price in the Burlington metro area experienced a 8.6 percent increase in the past year, bringing it up to $338,351, according to a recent study from Inspection Support Network, a home inspection software company. Prices are projected to continue rising this coming year, by another 11.1 percent. The study, published in June, pulled data from the Case-Shriller Indices, the leading measures of U.S. residential real estate prices. Burlington's increase is in line with national trends — home prices have been going up for over a decade now, with a particular surge this spring, the study said. In March, prices skyrocketed by 13.2 percent across the United States.
