A bushfire is burning out of control in Daliak in the Shire of York, east of Perth in Western Australia.
Residents are advised there is a threat to lives and homes and need to act immediately to survive.
The bushfire is moving fast in a northwesterly direction and the Great Southern Highway is closed between Yarra Road and Cuthill Road.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully and avoid the area.
