Bauer Hearst Illinois July 25, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail Abney PITTSFIELD — Authorities on Sunday canceled an Endangered Missing Person Advisory, saying a man who had not been seen since leaving Hardin on Friday and has a condition that placed him in danger has been found. The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois State Police had asked for assistance in locating Ronald Abney, 82, on Saturday after he had not been seen since 3 p.m. Friday, possibly on his way to Moberly, Missouri. At 5:27 p.m. Sunday authorities said that Abney had been found. No other details about his condition or where he was located were released.
