Wednesday, May 26, 2021 - 9:21 am CANTON – The Church & Community Program, 30 Court St., is adding hours to the Second Chance Thrift Shop and their pantry food distribution. Starting June 1, the thrift shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The reinstated full hours will kick off with a $5 bag sale for two weeks. All shoppers are still required to wear masks. On June 8, the CCP pantry will distribute food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays in an effort to serve people who may not be available during regular distribution on Wednesdays. Also, the pantry will be open from noon to 3:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, starting June 9. The pantry offers prepared boxes according to a preference list that clients fill out.
