ORLEANS — At least four committees and boards are set to review Cape Cod Healthcare’s proposal to tear down the iconic Lobster Claw restaurant at 42 Route 6A and replace it with a medical building. CCH already has been before the Site Plan Review Committee and will have a formal review with the Architectural Review Committee after the new year. The Conservation Commission will be involved because there is a wetland just off the parcel, the Board of Health will address the sewer connection needs, and finally, the Zoning Board of Appeals is expected to take up a special permit application in late January.
