Crews from Carlisle East, Carlisle West, and Longtown Fire Station were called to the property on Tribune Drive, Houghton, at 12.30am. The property was inspected, but no carbon monoxide was detected. A spokesperson for Carlisle East Fire Station said: "It was better to be safe than sorry." The property's gas utility company was informed about the incident, but no gas was detected by them either.
