The 0.77-acre site at the intersection of North Thompson Street and Floyd Avenue that had been planned for a Residence Inn is now in the hands of a new owner. Doswell Ventures LLC, an entity tied to local HVAC firm Woodfin, purchased the property Nov. 18 for $3.5 million. Last year Henrico-based KM Hotels began planning a five-story, 127-room Residence Inn for the site, which had eight different addresses at 100 and 106 N. Thompson St.; 3600 and 3602 Floyd Ave; and 101, 105, 107 and 109 Berrington Court.
