Curtin University has referred allegations of failing to thoroughly investigate serious misconduct claims involving some of its professors to the Corruption and Crime Commission.
A group of whistleblowers, some who spoke to
WAtoday last month under the condition of anonymity, allege there is a "cover-up culture" within the university's management because its Integrity and Standards Unit (ISU) did not act on complaints over alleged rorts involving funds, PhDs, student visas and "crony"-based promotions.
