The Australian Bureau of Statistics has already received more than one million Census forms following a new rule that allows households to complete it prior to Census night. Officially Census night is August 10, but thanks to COVID-19 restrictions the ABS is allowing households to pre-fill their forms if they already know who will be in their household come Census night. As of Wednesday, August 4, an estimated 1,023,561 Census forms had already been completed.
