Centennial Resource: Q2 Earnings Snapshot Aug. 3, 2021 DENVER (AP) _ Centennial Resource Development, Inc. (CDEV) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $25.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. The Denver-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to extinguish debt and for asset impairment costs, were 2 cents per share. The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 6 cents per share. The company posted revenue of $232.6 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $193.9 million.
