Center for Science in the Public Interest Wants Red No. 3 Co

Coalition of advocacy groups, led by Center for Science in the Public Interest CSPI, submitted petition to FDA to ban FD&C Red No. 3 colorant in food, dietary supplements, ingested drugs. This color additive is widely used in confectionery products and other processed foods.
