Centerstage with: Symone Fielder, of McMurry's 'Wait Until Dark' You are: a senior theater arts major from Center Point, an incorporated community in Kerr County. We've seen you before in: "Steel Magnolias," a show staged outdoors on the Quad last summer - Fielder was Shelby. She also was in "Caps and Bells" in February 2020 and was in "As This and Moonlight," her freshman debut in October 2017. Ironically, the other Susy Hendrix in the new show is a freshman - the show was double cast as pandemic insurance. Fielder also is planning a senior showcase, for which she will do a little Shakespeare (perhaps from "Antigone") and some monologue. And, theater prof Kerry Goff, "is forcing me to sing." That, she said, laughing, will be the biggest challenge. She'd rather do more Shakespeare, she joked.
