Ceremonial groundbreaking at Beavercrest build site marks ne

The contractors may not agree, but for most gathered at the site of the new Beavercrest Community School in Markdale for a ceremonial groundbreaking Thursday morning, the hard part is over.

Bluewater District School Board staff and trustees joined together with local politicians and community partners for a ceremonial groundbreaking at the build site of the new Beavercrest in the shadow of both a massive mound of dirt, as construction is underway, and the school it will be replacing in a few years time.
