Ceremonial groundbreaking at Beavercrest build site marks new era for Markdale
The contractors may not agree, but for most gathered at the site of the new Beavercrest Community School in Markdale for a ceremonial groundbreaking Thursday morning, the hard part is over. Bluewater District School Board staff and trustees joined together with local politicians and community partners for a ceremonial groundbreaking at the build site of the new Beavercrest in the shadow of both a massive mound of dirt, as construction is underway, and the school it will be replacing in a few years time.
