Contributed Special to the Tribune CHEBOYGAN — Applications are now open for the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan Community Development Fellowship, a full-time, salaried role starting October 2021. "I am very excited to announce that Cheboygan has been selected by the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan to host a community development fellow for the 2021-2022 program year," said Cheboygan City Main Street and Downtown Development Authority Interim Director Katie Duczkowski. "Fellows work directly with existing municipalities or organizations in these communities for 15 months on projects that expand organizational capacity, increase local collaboration, and remove barriers to development." Duczkowski said these are exciting times in Cheboygan and the city is looking forward to this additional boost to the positive momentum in the city.
