Check In Qld app deadline looms for local businesses

To help keep Queenslanders COVID safe, businesses across the state are being urged to register for the Check In Qld app, which becomes mandatory from Friday 9 July at 1am.
Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Yvette D’Ath said since the announcement was made as part of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Plan Roadmap to more eased restrictions more than two weeks ago, an additional 77,000 businesses had already signed up for the public safety device and there had been more than 32 million check ins via the Check In Qld app. That brings the total business applications to more than 128,000 and total check-ins using the app to more than 97 million.
