NEW show apartments at a retirement living complex on the outskirts of Chester will open this week. This is the first look inside the new McCarthy Stone scheme called The Cedars on Old Hall Street, Malpas. There has already been considerable interest in the site since construction began – with 35 per cent of the properties sold. The development consists of 23 one and two bedroom modern apartments for those over 60 as well as private parking. There will be a homeowner’s lounge for events and socialising, a guest suite for visiting family and friends, and lifts to all floors. There will also be a 24-hour emergency call system and a house manager who will take care of the day-to-day running of the development.
