Children in serious crash in Cornwall on A30 Wadebridge Bypass


Three children were among five people taken to hospital after a crash that left a driver in a 'potentially life threatening' condition.
Emergency services were called at around 8.38am yesterday (Friday, May 14) following a crash on the A39 Wadebridge Bypass, where a black Jeep Renegade and a Renault Scenic had collided.
The driver from the Jeep, along with the driver and three children from the Renault, were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro by ambulance.  The injuries of the driver of the Jeep were later described by police as potentially life threatening.
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team joined officers from Wadebridge Police, along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scene of Crime Officer, for a full investigation of the scene.
