Wang, who is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, made the remarks while presiding over a meeting of the Chairpersons' Council of the CPPCC National Committee on Friday. Noting the effective role of the evaluation mechanism in shifting the focus of consultative work from quantity to quality, Wang urged efforts to make better use of the evaluation results to boost the quality and effectiveness of political advisors' consultations.
