Charging that Bahamians must vote out the current political parties to save the country, Centreville MP Reece Chipman yesterday slammed the Minnis administration for what he said has been a failure to present financial statements from various government agencies. “Mr. Speaker, for more than three years, I have been asking this administration to meet their legal obligations to this House,” said Chipman while contributing to debate on a compendium of financial bills in the House of Assembly. “The minister of education has yet to bring the financial information on UB (The University of The Bahamas) and over the past three years, we would have given them more than $140 million dollars. The IDB’s (Inter-American Development Bank) focus, Mr. Speaker, is on governance, so we have a lot of work to do.
